I was looking forward to this for a month, I was really excited to read her second novel, since I liked To kill a kingdom so much and I was not disappointed.
The universe of this book was much more complex, I liked the multiple perspective ( even though it can be tiring sometimes but the plot was well structured and kept me hooked), the idea of buying and selling magic was very original and brilliantly used throughout the plot.
The cover was gorgeous, I loved that it was launched in October, it gives spooky vibes of magic travelling on top of a small town, it`s something I would immediately pick up in a bookshop.
One thing that I didn`t really like, although I am excited for the second book, is that there is a second book, seems that all fantasy has to be in parts now.
