Into the Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo is not a book I had planned on reading but I am glad that I did! What drew me in at first was the beautiful cover. From the font to the colour, the cover was absolutely flawless! I found that the title was not very enticing and if it had not been for the cover, I don’t think I would have read this book.
Although it was good, it was not unlike other fantasy books I have read before. It was very predictable and while it was exciting and enjoyable, I found that the story was not very memorable or overly unique. That being said, I loved the characters and really liked Alexandra Christos writing style.
Overall, this book was good but I was slightly disappointed with it. I will probably still read the sequel though!
