Wow. I don't know why but I completely underestimated this book. It was brilliant, with a really well thought out fantasy world. The author doesn't really stop to explain things but that's good, because you can really lose yourself in the world she's creating. I liked the characters, although they took me a little while to warm to, and am really rooting for them. I will be looking out for the sequel to this book, as well as reading the authors first book, which sounds like another epic fantasy like this one. I love the cover, I think its really pretty, and would definitely recommend this to people, with a warning that you'll probably get so hooked you read it all in one sitting. Enjoy.
