Honestly, where do I start? I was given a copy of this book for review by Readers First, however I already knew it would be on my radar. First things first. I read this with a week (would have been quicker but life.) I was so entranced by the characters, the relationships between them and the magic system that I couldn't put it down. Not only does this book have everything a YA fantasy needs but also has romance and a good building to a story.
I liked how at the beginning of the book we had no clue who was the good guy/thought we were following a female characters story. However by the end, you just want to know what happens to Wesley. I'm all for his dark and mysterious character. I can't wait to see where he goes from here.
I'm so glad I have met the author in person and that the book is part of a duology. Bring on next October.
