The cover is really beautiful, and I did like the sound of it as similar to six of crows. Wesley is quite similar to Kaz from SoC aswell, and again, the magic systems between the two books were quite similar. I did enjoy the book, the characters were good and there was a female female romance so it’s nice for that to be represented. The world building was good, (as I’ve already said it’s very similar to SoC) and there are some places that seem to have some nice cultural references. As far as the plot went, it was well paced and the intrigue was kept through the story. I know it’s been left open for another instalment and I would definately go for the next one! I would also read the authors other work as I do find the writing style easy to read.
