When I found out that Alexandra was coming out with her new book I added it to my must have list right away and couldn't wait to read about this new world she has written. I have to say, a teaser preview of this book is not enough at all, I must have this book in my hands soon.
I was instantly drawn into this world where there's a black market that you can purchase illegal magic. You follow the lead character who is a con artist and seller of this 'magic' as she's in servitude until she's of age in exchange for being looked after/made to work since a young age. The writing is just beautiful and you are instantly committed to the characters and world building and you just want more.
