the story in my opinion was just mediocre, though the characters seemed real they were let down by a weak story line. the story is based in Melbourne Australia, in the winter. very good descriptions of the weather at that time of year, but little else did it for me. the story line is bases around the murder of an up an coming film star who was killed during a film shoot. there were many suspects with motives and I must say I did not guess the killer. this is not revealed until the very end.the character DI Woodstock seems a very lonely person in a big city, and a lot of story is geared around her loneliness. personally its not a book i would recommend this time around but as i say its a personal opinion
