This book is a sequel to The Dark Lake and the main character is Local policewoman Detective Sergeant Gemma Woodstock, I like that the lead is a female and not a male as there is a lot of Crime and Mystery books with male leads so this is something which is up and coming.
Gemma Woodstock is a well written and thought out character with a good backstory to her.
Its about a murder which has happened on a film set but in a zombie crowd scene which makes it impossible to identify the attacker. You think with all the camera it would be an easy case but no with everyone in a costume things have gotten even tougher.
A lot of twist and turns and unexpected things happening and i quite enjoyed it.
