I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, it sounded different from other crime/thrillers. I have enjoyed reading it and it jumps straight into the story from the start, but I did feel that the book was spanned out a little to much in places for me, it is a great storyline and mostly a page turner, i just think that it could be condensed down to hold the reader a little more.
The book is based around a glamorous movie star who appears to be perfect in every way so when he is murdered in full view of lots of cast members on a movie set you would expect the crime to be solved very quickly but no one seems to have seen the murderer or the crime take place. A young but senior detective, Gemma Woodstock and her colleague are put on the case but are struggling to make any sense of the murder. Gemma has her own personal demons to fight as she struggles to commit to anything other than her work.
I would recommend this book.
