An excellent read
I'd already read the first novel of the series and enjoyed it very much. The second is just as good!
The murder of a homeless chap seems fairly straight-forward although it'll be difficult to solve. The murder of an actor on location during a scene with many cast and crew is something different.
I really liked the way the two stories were handled and Gemma Woodstock, the policewoman involved, is quite a character. I really warmed to her, feeling very sorry for her personal situation.
The author keeps the story really interesting and it is quite pacey. Set in Melbourne, the city is definitely a big part of the story.
Well-written, I certainly didn't guess who-dun-it and look forward to more from Sarah Bailey.
