I really enjoyed reading The Dark Lake by Sarah Bailey and so I was thrilled to win this book. I couldn’t wait to get struck in.
The book was easy to read and had a good plot. I love the fact that we heard about the same detective again.
It took some time to get in to the story but it was not dull in any way. I found that I was getting through the book really quickly and read it quickly.
I hope the author will write more books in this series as I’ve loved them, I will definitely read them. Even though this story had a clear conclusion I think there is a back story that could be developed in the future.
I have given it four stars as I love the detective and can’t wait to read kore from this author.
