A really enjoyable psychological police thriller . The main character Gemma Woodstock a small town senior detective is a real find, likeable not perfect and a shady past . A murder takes place on a movie set in full daylight with loads of cast and it is her job to find the killer . The book is set out like a police note book stating day of the week date and time and is in short snappy chapters over a period of six weeks . This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her style . This is a stand alone book and you did not need to read the debut thriller before this one . The book cover is enticing and sinister and is an apt introduction to the book within the pages .
