This is the second book by Sarah Bailey. I enjoyed her first book and this one is equally as good.
Local boy made good as a film star is murdered and it falls to Gemma to find his murderer. The book is well written and gallows along at a rattling pace. The characters are well written and for the most part likeable. The almost stifling atmosphere of a small town is well portrayed. The plot is well thought out and I certainly didn't guess who the killer was as I quite often do.
Australia seems to be the setting for a new generation of well written crime novels moving away from the USA.The heat of Australia radiates off the page.
I high recommend this author to anyone looking to find a new series of books.
