When I first saw this book, I was a little wary of the boring (yet intriguing) cover. The saying "do not judge a book by its cover" kept playing in my head. Into the Night would not have been my first choice, but I went against my thoughts and read the book.

The book was written brilliantly with easy to read and simple sentence and pacing structures. The plot kept me clinging to the edge of my seat as I went along with the exciting and thrilling investigation.

Characters were written beautifully and showed such great development throughout the novel. I felt like I could relate to the protagonist multiple times throughout the novel.

Conflict with the antagonist was written excellently and real struggles could be grasped within the words.

This was a very good book, despite my first time cruel judgments. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great thriller or mystery.
