This looked to have so much promise but it did not.
Found the writing poor and confusing.
Could not engage with the main characters in the story as I found that they did not have any substance so lost interest in them.
Found the main story slow and confusing as they seemed to be looking in to one crime but going back to another which did not make sense, maybe this was in the first book which I have not read.
Generally the story just appeared unbelievable and the ending seemed rushed as if the story needed and ending and this looked like a simple way to end it.
What procedures that were mentioned did not add up and why were the two main police characters given this when they did not have the experience when others did.
Not sure if I would read any thing else by this author.
