When I first picked it up, I was really enthusiastic about reading it and thought it was going to be really really good. But after a few chapters, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get into it, but I still read it all anyways. Half way through the book I’d already worked out who had killed Wade, and I knew the murders were connected from the get go. It’s not really rocket science with this book, very easy to see where it is all going. I think the characters are generally fine, and I understand every author writes a backstory for their main characters, but I honestly don’t see the point of Gemma continuously arguing with Scott, when he’s nothing to do with the case. After this I don’t think I’d read anything from her again.
