This is a fast paced, great story and I really enjoyed the unfolding backstories and clues. It was also lovely to read an Australian based piece as I have never been and it was lovely the glimpses of the places there. So many thriller novels are set in the States so it was nice to have a different setting for a familiar genre.
I also liked the female approach and the emotional responses and thoughts, they felt very real as with the romance and hopeful edges.
The unfolding clues were suitably creepy and the language worked. I thought the characters spoke in very clear voices and it was amusing at times in terms of the banter.
A really great read and I look forward to what else this author produces over time.
