I was drawn to the beautiful front cover of this book and after reading the synopsis it reminded me of The Island by Victoria Hislop (who is actually mentioned) which I loved!
The storyline set in Crete sets the story up for some fantastic impressions of life in a different country which I really enjoy reading about. (plus the descriptions make you want to go on holiday!)
