I really enjoyed this book but didn’t have a few problems whilst reading it. The pacing was quite slow as it kept skipping between the past and the present but I found it very emotional and liked that it took a while to tell you the whole story of the past. However the end half seemed quite overly dramatic and everything happened within the last 100 pages but I felt it could have been spread out a lot more. I liked that the history ran straight through to the end of the story and that it tied up all the loose ends but I felt like it was quite slow going. The characters were really lovely and the story line was really emotional and quite gripping in places. I would definitely recommend this book
