Inititally I was sceptical about this book because it says for fans of Steig Larsson and I am definitely not one of those. I decided to give it a bash but I have to admit I don't think this one is for me.
There is lots of action and the author doesn't try to ease you in to the story - we start off fairly full bore. This I don't mind at all, however I can't get a grip of the characters at all and there is a stilted narrative flow to proceedings that keeps me one step away from the action and the people - I am excrutiatingly aware that I am reading someone else's words.
