The book cover looked amazing. Praise from favourite authors made it a ‘must’ to read!
Disappointment from the first few pages quickly grew, until by chapter three I thought I was wading through treacle.
The book was grim. It’s leading character was cold, strange and certainly not one could feel any empathy for. In fact I found it impossible to feel empathetic with any of the characters and by the end had totally lost interest.
As I said previously, an enormous disappointment.
There was very little sexual interactions in the script but what there was seemed seedy and gratuitous, instead of building a relationship between reader and character it was as if everything was being done to do the opposite. Sadly, this book was not one I enjoyed.
