I've not read anything by this author before but this piqued my interest. I loved this brief look at the storyline, a friend who moves in with her sick friend to care for him, unknown to hos corcle of friends he's sick. She has family issues that she needs to sort out with her sister but remains on civil speaking terms with her brother in law....she has an old man following her who claims to be a friend of her deceased father after making him a promise that he would check in on them if anything happened to him...what alot happening in the first 28 pages!!! The characters all seem likeable and I will probably buy this book to see what happens throughout the storyline. And Whisper seems like such a cute puppa :)
