I really enjoyed this extract. It had me reading on without me even thinking about it. I really like how relevant it is to today's society with the mention of social media, influencers etc. And I like the competition between mothers of the school children. This seems like an interesting community with a lot going on for each family. It would be good to get to the bottom of what happened with the body that was pulled out of the lake at the beginning! A good start.
