Neither the synopsis nor the cover of this book drew me in and I was in two minds about downloading and reading the sneak peek. I am so glad that I decided to give it a chance - I was hooked from the beginning. Starting with brief witness statements about a tragedy that has just occurred and then moving to a missing cat sets the scene for what I am sure will be a very enjoyable read.
