A good introduction to the main characters and plot. It starts more formal, it would appear that a death / murder has been committed, witnesses or maybe suspects are being ushered into the police station. It's intriguing because we don't know what's happened. Then suddenly we're 15 days earlier before 'the incident' has happened. The descriptions, we assume of the main characters who will be involved in whatever has happened. We enter their mundane day to day lives, their personalities etc.
