I would definitely count myself as a fan of Motherland and Catastrophe so this book should be right up my street but the story line sounds a little over the top. The funniest parts of those shows are the acutely observed minutia of daily life whereas this sounds a little like Linda Snell organising the Ambridge Christmas show. I'm guessing it will be very entertaining but I'll wait for the TV adaptation.
