I can tell from the first few chapters that this is likely to be a fun, easy read! The characters sound intriguing and whilst there are some comical moments, I have a feeling there may be some darker elements to the book as well as there seems to have been some sort of tragedy. I'm a big fan of 'Motherland' so I like how this has been compared to it - it definitely seems like it's going to be an enjoyable read!
