The opening chapters sound like it's going to be a fun, lighthearted read. I don't have children myself, but I think I would still find it quite amusing. It reminds me a lot of 'Motherland' already!
I'm invested in Christine and Conor's relationship... I think they'll be quite funny together! Beverly sounds like she'll be very high maintenance. A nice variety of characters introduced so far!
