The cover of this book does not appeal to me at all. I don't often look to a light read when picking a book.
That said, the first few pages of this book surprised me in their appeal. They lay out the progress of the book, with the realisation that we are being taken on the story of the lives of the members of a school and their families that will culminate kn a death.
This was written in a light and witty manner and therefore I suspect there will be dark humour alone the way. I am unsure why but I think the combination of light read and whodunnit drew me to this book despite initial reservations. I would be intrigued to see where this goes.
