I’m struggling to rate this book as I feel the storyline was good but it wasn’t what I was expecting at all despite me going in to the book fairly blind. There was a mystery element to the book but this wasn’t really the focus which I found interesting yet slightly confusing. At the start of the book we are told a body has been found but because of the way the story is told, I kept forgetting that this had happened and that we don’t know who it was or how they died. Another thing I wasn’t particularly a fan off was that we are just told at a random point in the story who that body is and how they died without a build up or anything. Other than that, I felt the characters were well developed and the story was easy to follow. I liked the writing style and all the characters were likeable (even the ones I thought I wouldn’t like). I would like to give this 3.5 but rounded down as I don’t feel it was a 4 star read!
