This is a really interesting story that clearly covers all ages. I love that the story is told from the parents point of view rather than the child's. The book is extremely easy going and contains both humour and serious tones. The story goes into depth about each of the main characters and allows you to get attached each one. As it is based in a primary school and contains younger themes, it is clear that it is aimed towards a younger audience of readers. I felt that the storyline was more childish so i didnt enjoy it as much. However it perfectly attracts the younger audience and contains themes that kids would enjoy. Overall, i enjoyed the book and feel that it would be a good read for young audiences. The shift of perspective from young to old characters makes the storyline unique. I also think the book cover links to the themes well and stands out.
