'It Could Never Happen Here' follows the lives of the parents who have children that attend Glass Lake Primary School. The main character is Beverley Franklin who will do whatever it takes to protect the school's reputation - especially when there is a scandal regarding her own daughter. She is so busy trying to protect her daughter and also keep the school musical on track that she actually has no idea what is going on in her own house.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I really did enjoy it. I loved the writing style and the plot was really original. The characters were all interesting and how the author described them was brilliant. I didn't know what was going to happen and I love that when reading books. It wasn't predictable like a lot of other stories.
I will be recommending this to family/friends and will also be looking for more books by this author in the future!
