Beverley Franklin will do literally anything to look out for her daughters Amelia and Ella. She is one of the many tiger mummies at Glass Lake primary school, little does she know that both her daughters are involved with Charlie Whitehead's sons. Charlie is in prison for the drunk driving accident that killed one of his sons's friends and maimed another. However all is not as it seems everyone seems to have a secret and a reason to keep it so. Beverley's husband has been sending sexy photos to an ex colleague of hers but then so have the year six pupils and who is the real recipicant? As the story unravels we are not sure whose is the body in the river. The year sixth play "The wonderful Wizard of Oz" the book which is apparently importantly different from the film is at the centre of the action with mothers vying for key roles for their children. The conclusion leads to even more people holding on to secrets for the sake of their loved ones.
