Firstly I would like to applaud the author for how beautifully and smart this book was written. I could not a fault or weakness in the structure of the book the entire way through and so the story flowed wonderfully.
Beverley Franklin has her pride and joy, the schools reputation, tarnished by her own daughter getting caught up in some issues, she turns her focus into some sort of over powered make it right mind frame.
Things only get worse for this family, along with side characters who also share their own side stories (without you feeling derailed from the main plot).
I would say to make sure you read the trigger warnings for this book before you dive into it as it does cover some tough subjects. The author has done a great job of balancing the heavy subjects with some light hearted moments and heeps of wit and humour so please don't let the heavier parts deter you.
Overall this a book I would absolutely recommend to anyone and feel like will because big on booktok after its release.
