I really enjoyed this book. It is a typical school gate type dilemma where there is always someone who is top dog and everybody wants to surround that person. In this case it is Beverley Franklin who used to attend this school and now has 2 daughters who do. She gives off the impression of a perfect person but as the story goes on we discover this really is not the case at all.

We have lots of over involved parents who are on the eve of the opening night of the school musical and a body is discovered in the local river.
We do not discover who this person until well over three quarters of the way through the book and this gets your mind going as to who it could be.
The story goes along with lots of different problems for the families and it shows bits of the police interviews so gets you thinking who could be the killer and who is dead.

This plays out really well and had quite a few laugh out loud moments too. A good read.
