Glass Lake is a highly reputable primary school in Ireland where Beverley Franklin is the leader of the mothers and will do whatever it takes to protect her daughters Ella and Amelia as well as the reputation of her school where someone dies.
I really liked the characters and enjoyed each main character's individual story, although I did get confused with some of the smaller characters. At first I thought Christine, who's cat got abducted at the start of the book, was the main character but I came to realise there was a few, including Beverley Franklin and Arlo Whitehead. It was nice to see character development and I was invested in their individual stories.
I felt that the book lost me half way through as it was a bit slow and repetitive. I feel like ideas were drilled into our heads throughout the book, which was why I particularly enjoyed the last 200 pages, when there were twists I did not see coming!
