it Could Never Happen Her.   This intriguing story is set in a small Irish town and centres on the activities surrounding their prestigious school and the demanding parents. As it becomes clear that a body has been found, the story develops from many points of view with interviews from the police investigation interspersed.
The cast and organisation of the school's musical performance, which is even more important this year because Beverley was able to secure a TV broadcast of it, is filled with a large variety of genuine individuals, and you can readily picture the politics and personality conflicts. Beverley wasn't born into wealth, but she wants to flaunt her ideal life and let everyone know that she now has money. She is married to a very handsome and wealthy man, she has a beautiful house, her eldest daughter Ellie is in her first year at university and Amelia is a star of Instagram. But what she doesn't want people to know is that she and Ellie are barely on speaking terms. Engaging and funny with cleverly interwoven storylines. Well worth a read.
