This book is the third one that I read by Eithne Shortall and I liked as much as Three Little Truths!

"It Could Never Happen Here" gave me Liane Moriarty vibes - especially Big Little Lies - and it was so much fun!

In this book, we follow a group of very particular mums, whose children go to Glass Lake school and the drama that there is between them gripped me straight away!

Any twist and turn that could happen in a book, does actually take place here. A mysterious and sudden death, plenty of gossips, hidden secrets, a tad of jealousy, many betrayals, a cute young romance, some old and new friendship and a very satisfying ending that was perfect for the story.

Because we didn't know who dies right until the end, I suspected everyone at some point, except the person who was really behind the crime! Which it blew my mind, because I didn't see it coming at all!

Eithne Shortall is one of the best writers of Women's Fiction and I enjoy her books very much!
