Obviously I can’t say too much as I don’t want to drop any spoilers, but my favourite part of this book was the ending as I really hadn’t seen it coming!
I thought this book was very similar to ‘big little lies’ however maybe a not quite as good version. Although I did enjoy reading it, I found myself wanting more, particularly from the characters. There were obvious ‘villains’ and those we were rooting for, and even though we did get to know them, I didn’t feel like the characters were very deep.
I enjoyed the writing style and thought that the book flowed really well and was east to read.
I thought there was a good level of humour in the book, and I found it amusing throughout even though there are some really serious topics, there was a really good balance.
