Well this turned out quite a bit different from what I was expecting. Billed as for those who enjoyed Motherland, I guess I was expecting humorous drama at the school gates, but actually this was much, much darker.
That said though, I still really enjoyed this tale of school politics and pushy parents.
There's quite a bit going on throughout and some of the story takes place in the past, so at times I was having to question what was happening, I double backed a couple of times. I also found myself a bit confused between the school mums and daughters and kept having to work out who was who.
But these are small niggles. The plot twisted and turned several times, and just when I thought I'd correctly worked it all out - I was given quite the surprise.
If you're looking for a fairly easy read, which will keep you guessing, you can't go too wrong with the one.
