Daisy Hobson, a marketing manager from London, lives her whole life online. But then her social media addiction causes her to make a huge mistake at work. This results in a lot of problems for Daisy. Her sister Rosie thinks she has the answer: a digital detox in a cottage. There she meets two distractions: Alex, the sexy French exchange-help, and Jack, the man-next-door who keeps accidentally rescuing her.

The new romantic comedy from Anna Bell is a charming, light hearted and funny read.

My opinion:
I liked Daisy’s character a lot – although I couldn‘t relate to her all the time and even though she got herself mixed up in things without even realising it. Her story of finding herself and her place in the world without the help of social media made me laugh numerous times. The other characters were funny as well. It was a very entertaining read.

I enjoyed the writing style. The story line was clever. The novel is intelligently written. And it was a book that made me think because I also spend too much time online.

The cover is really cute and pretty. I also like the title of the book.

I can definitely recommend this book to anybody who loves good chick-lit and romance.
