This is my first book by Anna Bell, I was given it as a gift by a friend and found it an easy and enjoyable read. A true rom-com but with a modern twist with the social media addicted Daisy as the main character. She proved to be a great character, believable, funny and modern and I so wanted to her to choose the right man in the end!
Her Sister, the gorgeous men, the neighbours she meets along the way all have an integral part in the book and are well written and easy to imagine. It has a serious theme, especially in this day and age, but is funny at times too!
I found the cover let the book down somewhat, but it was bright and fun and would attract people to it.
I certainly recommend this book if you’re looking for an easy, feel good Summer read. It will make you think, it will make you laugh and you'll while away the hours lost in Daisy's world in the rugged Cumbrian countryside.
