Thirty-one year old marketing manager Daisy is forced into a digital detox by her sister after a tweet has disastrous repercussions. Cue a remote house with no internet connection, telephone boxes, written notes, a budding romance and a simpler non-technological lifestyle.

This book has the tried and tested formula of a romantic comedy; chance meetings, misunderstandings and ultimately, love. Reading this is akin to snuggling into a fluffy, warm throw.

I found the story to be well written and easy to read; the characters were well developed and likeable (apart from Dominic but that was the point!)

If you’re a fan of Sophie Kinsella, Jojo Moyes and Paige Toon (I am) you’ll really enjoy this book (I did!)
