I think all of us can agree in today's world the majority of us have an addiction to our phones and other digital devices. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a completely technology free day and I don't class myself as a social media addict like the main character Daisy in 'It Started With A Tweet'. Therefore I think Daisy's flaws are easy to relate to and to find the humour in the sticky situations she finds herself in throughout the book on her hunt to gain access to the online world. Although one of the main plots of the book is a fluffy typical chick lit romance I think the overall story has an important message, which is to appreciate life for what it is and to step away from technology sometimes.

I really enjoyed the writing style and I liked all of the characters even though many of them showed their flaws throughout the book. I found myself laughing out loud at many times in the story and especially when Jack would repeatedly put his foot in his mouth when talking to Daisy. I read 50% of the book in a couple of hours in bed and devoured the other half the next day so it was a very quick read for me and perfect for curling up with a hot drink on a cold day.

I would definitely recommend for fans of Paige Toon, Lindsey Kelk and Sophie Kinsella.
