Promising start. The main character appears to be very matter-of-fact about the particularly gruesome murder of a girl who was her best friend. She also appears to accept the horrors of life in prison as just punishment for her misdeeds. Then there is the hint that she lied in court....... was she more involved in the actual murder than the jury are led to believe......
