Gritty
Geo is about to go to prison for the murder of her best friend Angela. This book is about how she navigates prison and her life after.
This was a quick read, interesting enough plot full of surprises to keep turning the pages. The main character was a tricky one making you question if she was a reliable narrator. The plot really starts to come together half way through the book and you can't help joining in and feeling apart go Geo's life.
I wasn't too happy with ending as it felt rushed and not fully justified I did however feel for Geo.
The story flicks between past and present going through that fateful night when Geo helped in the murder of her best and that is done quite good and reader is not left confused.
