So I chose this book based on the cover (yes, I do judge a book by its cover) but I'm so glad I did, as the first 30 pages I've read where phenomenal. I knew nothing about the plot, or that this was a thriller, or it involved female prison, and I was so pleasantly surprised. First of all, everything started from a court, introducing us to Geo (Georgia) our heroine, who let's just say that she's done her fair share of naughty needs (ie look at helping her ex boyfriend chop off her best friend and leave her there for 14 years). So as you can tell, she's found guilty, (I mean obviously) and we're taken step by step through her incarceration and how everything she's thought is long in the past is coming back to bite her in the behinds big time. And although I've only read the beginning of this book, I'm thoroughly invested now to what happens to Geo, even though I know she's guilty and she might deserve everything she's done in the past, I can help by cheer for her and be on her side. Very well worth the pick up, for everyone who wants a high suspense thriller.
