So the blurb says this is a story about a faked death and that the woman accused of the murder has enlisted the help of a journalist to clear her name. This is not the whole story though.
Whilst this thread of the book is the main plot line we also have plenty going on in terms of journalist Morgan's family, specifically her daughter, and a sub plot line involving babies being born to order - to imprisoned girls who shouldn't have had the opportunity to get pregnant.
All the stories do link up but there really is a lot going on here. That said it's all very easy to follow and the story flows well and is an easy (if sometimes disturbing) read.
There is a really intriguing twist at the end that will really have you questioning what you would do in that situation.
The real clincher though is that my fiancé also read and enjoyed this book. He rarely reads so his endorsement is quite something!
