From my first view I was expected this to be a good psychological thriller however I was not prepared for how engaging this book would be! There were several surprises, twists and turns this book which made it a fast page turner to the very end.
The main character Morgan is a very likable and often relatable character who relentless personality meant she could not rest until she had all the answers to her questions. This made the book a very satisfying read.
The plot kept me engrossed throughout the book, the intriguing Karl/Pablo was a wicked 'baddy', who the author wrote about both past and present to help the reader understand how he has become who he now: a psychopathic arsonist and killer.
I look forward to reading more from Simon Brooker.
