given the story of this book is about a husband who lost his wife in a london bombing I should imagine this book is full of blood and guts and thee hell of something like that happening on any normal day. People living their lives which are then torn apart as mayhem ensues can make for gruesome reading but the thoughts and lives of those left behind to pick up the pieces and carry one leave poignant messages in the pages of books like these. It's scary to think that things like this can and do really happen in today's society
